The problem wasn't getting people to the website. It was what happened next.
Luxury Stays Queenstown already had the hard part sorted: an exceptional collection of homes, thousands of happy guests and a reputation built over years. But the website had drifted a long way from the business it represented. It was dated, difficult to update and, at the exact moment someone decided to book, it sent them somewhere else.
That handover mattered more than it looked. Luxury Stays lost control of the guest experience, couldn't properly see who converted and was sending valuable customer intent and search authority to a domain it didn't own. So instead of asking how we could make the website look better, we asked a more useful question:Â how do we keep the entire journey here?

Search. Choose. Book. Done.
The new website connects directly to Guesty, so guests can search real availability, see live pricing, choose their stay and pay without ever leaving luxurystaysqt.com. No awkward handover and no mystery about what happened after the booking click. Just one seamless journey from dreaming about Queenstown to confirming the stay.
Then came the part the booking software itself couldn't solve. Luxury Stays regularly hosts weddings, families and groups who need several homes at once, but Guesty couldn't guarantee multiple properties as one booking. So we built that functionality ourselves. Every selected home is secured first, and payment only happens once the whole group is locked in. Complex booking logic underneath, a very simple experience on top.

Seventy-plus properties, without feeling like a catalogue.
The design had its own challenge. A large accommodation portfolio can quickly start to feel like a directory, so we kept the experience calm, editorial and image-led, letting the homes and Queenstown landscape do the heavy lifting. Clear search, useful filters, live pricing and curated collections make finding the right stay easy without stripping away the sense of discovery.
Behind the scenes, we also brought two websites together under one domain and gave the Luxury Stays team control of their own content. Pages, photography, specials and editorial content can now be updated without calling a developer, while property data stays connected to the systems already running the business.

The website doesn't just take bookings. It tells the business what to do next.
The old site couldn't answer a fairly important question: did anyone actually book? Once a guest clicked through to the external booking engine, they disappeared from view. There was no usable conversion data, no way to see where people dropped out and very little evidence for what should change next.
Now every step is measurable, from the first date search through property views, checkout and payment. But collecting data was only half the job. We built Luxury Stays a weekly analytics companion that actually reads it. It looks at where guests are coming from, which properties convert, what people are searching for, where organic rankings are within reach and what content could create the next opportunity, then turns it into a simple weekly digest for the team.
No trawling through GA4. No dashboards full of numbers waiting for someone to interpret them. The website is constantly building a clearer picture of what its guests want and where the business should focus next.
That changes the role of the website completely. It isn't something Luxury Stays launches and occasionally updates. It's an active part of how they run and grow the business.
